After 8 years as a ski instructor and travel guide for a small business in Austria, I decided to start my own company and founded Alplinjen in 1986. I was looking for an authentic Austrian village with a good lift system for all categories, walking distance to the lifts and a place where we could have our own Swedish ski school. We visited many small towns and villages and we finally found Rauris that met all the requirements that I had asked for. We focused initially on families and not so long ago Rauris was awarded a price for the best family resort in Austria! A family atmosphere characterizes our travels and many of our travelers come back year after year for the great service and our winning concept with Swedish ski school. Many think “I can already ski so I do not need ski school” but as soon as you discover that we have groups for all levels and challenges both in and outside the slope – 99.9% of all our customers wants to join. Our instructors are highly trained and have extensive experience. Several of them have worked in Sweden, Norway, Australia, the USA and Canada and belong to the elite among Swedish ski instructors.

We choose our locations and pensions with care and know what it takes to make a ski trip into an unforgettable experience. Since we are small family business we have low overheads and can therefore offer very competitive prices. The ski school is included in the price and all other activities.

For our trips we use established bus companies that have modern buses and always professional drivers. You also have the opportunity to drive your own car, take the train or fly.
